Upland Game Bird Project
DWU will be releasing more pheasants in the Niland fields on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. If you would like to help with the catch and release, please go to the DWU pheasant pens at 8:00 AM on Wednesday.
The best fields for pheasant this season will be fields U-2, U-4, U-6, Q-22, & Q-25.
To get there from Brawley or El Centro take Hwy 111 north to Rutherford Road. Turn west on Rutherford Road and go 1/2 mile. Turn in the gate at Gibson Tools and drive to the back of the property where the pheasant pens are located.
