Annual DWU BBQ
Our annual DWU meeting, barbeque and raffle will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Brawley Lion’s Center, 225 A Street, in Brawley. The doors will open at 5:00 P.M.
Like always we will be serving a scrumptious pit BBQ with all the fix’ns for $20.00 (includes food and membership) along with homemade desserts. Like last year though, we will not be offering any carry-out dinners. To make the event a big success we would like to ask that you please bring your favorite dessert like a pie or a cake, to share with the rest of the DWU members.
A short annual meeting and election of officers will be held before the raffle begins. Dozens of raffle items have been donated including shotguns, rifles, and ammunition so your chances of winning are better than ever.
This year we are offering sponsor tables with reserved seating. The tables are $1,000. They include 8 entrance and dinner tickets, 80 general raffle tickets, and 10 special sponsor tickets.
Our silent auction includes dozens of items for the whole family so be sure to bring plenty of cash or checks for a night of great fun. For your convenience a credit card machine will be set up to accept Visa and MasterCard at the banquet for your tickets, membership, and silent auction.
If you can't make it to the banquet but would like to make a donation or renew your membership, a membership application may be printed by selecting the donations tab on our home page. All memberships and donations are fully tax deductible.
